I'm a postdoctoral researcher at North Carolina State University working in the Larson Lab.

I study how managed public spaces, such as urban parks, generate broad public value and shape community life. My current work examines conditions—spanning sociodemographic, infrastructural, and environmental factors—that can either facilitate or hinder the use of green spaces, using smartphone location datasets. I aim to deepen this work by examining policy and decision-making processes that influence physical greenspace layouts and usage patterns, advancing equitable and sustainable public space management.

I hold a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Arizona State University. I received an MPA from Korea University and a BS in Chemistry (with a minor in Science & Technology Policy) from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
